Shelby Unveiled New Super Snake Package for 2010 GT500

Las Vegas based car tuners Shelby revealed their new set of Super Snake kit for the new 2010 Ford Shelby GT500.

The tuned will come in two options, one with two supercharger kits with a Shelby/Ford Racing kit which increases output to 630hp or a Shelby/Kenne Bell blower kit which can produce 725hp 725hp. With the 725hp kit it will have a new driveshaft capable of handling the power and a twin 75mm throttle bodies to feed the supercharger. The car also fits with a new Borla exhaust and a six-speed transmission with a 3.73 rear axle ratio.

The Super Snake also gets a standard Ford Racing handling package with lowered springs, adjustable dampers, front strut tower brace and tuned stabilizer bars. Custom Alcoa 20-inch wheels is also available and a six-piston Shelby/Baer brake system is also part of the package.

The new 2010 Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake will be made in August this year and price expect for the 630 hp package starts at $29,495, while the 725 hp kit goes for $33,495.
